Biography
Laurie has been working in and developing art for most of her professional life. Her most artistic, formative years was working as a professional lighting director, cinematographer and videographer, and graphic artist.These skills have contributed immensely in her painting with having a solid understanding of light, and it's ethereal characteristics, composition, and color to name a few. To capture the subtlety of these intrinsic qualities in her paintings has been an ongoing exploration that she enjoys in her work.
